Description: A working class man expresses dissatisfaction about dinner, protesting to his wife that their neighbour still makes suet puddings and dumplings. Sneaking a look through the neighbour's window on the following morning, his wife sees that her neighbour uses grated potato mixed with flour as a substitute, to compensate for the wartime shortage. That evening she presents her husband with a pudding.
